Fulltext PDFFertility preservation is a rapidly expanding interdisciplinary field, with new technologies available in the last few years and increasing press coverage. The topic of fertility preservation for the pediatric population is especially crucial for appropriate healthcare providers to understand in order to maximize timely access to care for patients. This review will compile the most recent practice guidelines on fertility preservation from multiple clinical societies, as well as highlight considerations specific to pediatric patients undergoing fertility preservation prior to treatment for malignancies or gender-affirming therapies.
