Abstract

Cervical lymphadenitis is the most common extrapulmonary manifestation of TB. Here we report a
rare case of cervical scrofula (TB lymphadenitis) involving the pretracheal lymph node. It is essential
to undergo a proper radiological assessment to differentiate between thyroid nodule and lymph
node pathology and thus avoiding surgical intervention.
