Abstract

We report a case of a locally aggressive 3.3 cm chondrosarcoma treated with salvage hemicricoidectomy, removing 60% of the cricoid cartilage, without any reconstruction, in an otherwise healthy 37-year old male. The patient was decannulated six weeks post op and is a year later breathing without stridor, fully rehabilitated.
